Hiroshige Envi

|

The great Japanese woodcut master, in your pocket! Hiroshige Envi brings thousands of Ando Hiroshige's "floating world" woodblock prints (ukiyo-e) from the Web to your iPhone or iPod touch. It's 19th century Japan experienced through the eyes of one of its most expressive chroniclers.
From the 53 stations of the Tokaido and 69 stations of the Kisokaido roads to the 100 Famous Views of Edo (the great eastern capital) and beyond, Hiroshige Envi displays Web-based ukiyo-e the way you would expect on the iPhone: full screen, with multi-touch controls, in automated slide shows. Cities, towns, countryside, nature, people, legends. Hiroshige painted it all, and Hiroshige Envi brings it all to you.
Hiroshige Envi is based on our acclaimed iEnvision Web-image browser. iEnvision organizes images from the Web into indexed groups. With iEnvision not only can you view Web-based art, but also astronomy photos, children's books, comics, manga, news, travel brochures and more. You can also add and remove your own groups and sites.
Please also check out Art Envi Deluxe, which includes access to hundreds of artists and works, indexing by period, ability to save images, and many other added features.
